SpicyChat Review 2026: CrushOn AI and the Best Alternatives

SpicyChat is a chat platform with AI characters created by its community, built around roleplay and open to adult content between consenting adults. Its terms of service (updated July 23, 2026) state that it’s owned and operated by NextDay AI Incorporated, based in Montreal (Canada), with two subsidiaries: NextDay AI USA Inc (Delaware) and NextDay AI EU Ltd (Cyprus).

A useful detail: NextDay AI also runs GirlfriendGPT, one of the 13 apps in our comparison. So the two services share the same operator, but not the same product: SpicyChat is a very large character catalog designed for roleplay (written role-playing), while GirlfriendGPT adds images, voice, and video around the companion.

On the homepage checked on September 30, 2026, the search engine showed more than 375,000 characters, sorted by tags (romantic, fantasy, anime, scenario…). Quality depends on each creator: in its terms, SpicyChat describes itself as a “distributor,” not a publisher, of third-party content.

SpicyChat is mostly free, and paid for memory, images, and the best models. Its official documentation states that the basic features stay free; the free version shows ads. Here are the three plans listed at spicychat.ai/subscribe on September 30, 2026.

“4K, 8K, or 32K memory” refers to the context size: the number of tokens (word fragments) the model keeps in mind during the conversation. The bigger it is, the less the character forgets what was said earlier. The terms state that SpicyChat can change its prices at any time, so check the page before subscribing.

Partly. On September 30, 2026, spicychat.ai offered a language selector (with options like “FR”) that translates menus and tags, but some text (banners, the subscription page) stayed in English. More importantly, the characters themselves are mostly written in English: the site’s language filter puts the “Non-English” tag in a small minority. You can write in another language, but reply quality depends on the model and the character you pick.

On mobile, SpicyChat’s terms explicitly mention “mobile apps” in addition to the website. We haven’t verified their availability on the App Store and Google Play ourselves: only download from a link on spicychat.ai, and be wary of third-party sites offering a “SpicyChat app” under a different developer name.

CrushOn AI is a chat platform with AI characters, also built on community creation and open to adult content. Its terms of service (last modified July 22, 2025, checked on September 30, 2026) state that the service is provided by TECHIEPIE LTD, a company registered in Cyprus, with its principal place of business in Strovolos, Nicosia. The site footer also lists an address in Dover, Delaware (United States).

On the business model, the terms say the basic service is free and that message credits can be bought for full use. The FAQ describes a virtual currency, “CrushOn Coins,” earned through daily logins among other things and convertible into bonus messages, along with paid packs of 1,000 and 3,000 messages.

Pricing: can’t be verified. On September 30, 2026, crushon.ai’s subscription page was behind an anti-bot check and showed no publicly viewable pricing. So we don’t quote any prices, including the ones floating around on third-party sites. On language, the FAQ says you can set the model’s reply language in the chat settings; we weren’t able to verify which interface languages are offered.

Both platforms allow adult content between adults and ban anything involving minors or real people. The details differ, according to their official documents checked on September 30, 2026.

A deepfake is an AI-generated image, video, or voice that imitates a real person. Sharing a sexual deepfake of someone without their consent can be a criminal offense, whatever the platform. None of these rules can be “worked around” without risking account deletion, and sometimes much more.
